They are currently recruiting for the position of Procurement Cost Engineer, based in Leatherhead.
Job Description
- Together with the Lead Cost Engineer, to identify, manage and achieve all Project Services deliverables required to support successfully moving the project through the various Select, Define and Execute stage gates, Partner sanction and development of initial Control Budgets and subsequent Control Budget updates thereafter
- Develop and manage set up of cost reporting, management and forecasting tools, in accordance with the Project Work Breakdown Structure using the latest version Company Cost Database System Kildrummy® CostMANAGER
- Develop Cost Control strategies, plans and procedures
- Management presentations, internal MCEs (Master Control Estimates), GFO's, Project Cost Reports and Dashboards etc ensuring that integrated Cost information is consistently and clearly communicated at the appropriate level
- Monitor expenditure versus approved expenditure limits, including reconciliation and adjustment of ledgers and ensuring timely requests for increases in approvals
- Coordinate the Cost activities and develop strong interfaces between the other key disciplines/groups such as Contracts/PSCM, Finance, Planning, Estimating and Delivery Teams. Interface with Project Management as appropriate to maintain a cost profile and influence
- Preparation of the Monthly Reporting functions including but not limited to Company Internal GFO, AWP&B, Long Term Plans, Cost Dashboards, Variance Analyses, and Expenditure Phasing Exercises etc
- Update Purchase Order commitments, develop monthly VOWD & accurate Forecasts by Procurement Purchase Order by interfacing with PSCM Procurement Specialists and utilising all available PSCM reports such as PSR, ESR, Change Register, etc
- Ensure correct coding of all requisitions, purchase orders, contracts, invoices, estimates and develop and maintain all required cost logs, registers and Maximo
- Participate in Purchase Orders Close Out process
- Participate in monthly VOWD & Accrual review with Finance
Skills & Experience
- Potential candidates should have experience of Procurement reporting from previous projects and have a good track record
- Candidates should also be motivated, have good inter personnel skills and good communicators
- CostManager Control & Reporting System - focusing on coordination of the system interfaces, consolidated reporting activities as well as carrying out system administration, security and advanced set-up and report functionality
- Be familiar with Change Management Process
This is a contract position.
The rate for this position is negotiable.
