Overview:

Provide technical assistance to a small technical team currently composed of 3 Reservoir/Petroleum Engineers working on producing and development projects inAlgeria

Essential Job Functions:

• General Assistance
  • Spreadsheet development and data input for various engineering projects.
  • Preparation of graphs, charts, and Powerpoint presentations
  • Preparation of regular internal and external reports
  • Engineering research using public domain data
  • Maintenance of, and enhancement to, team Sharepoint site
  • Data preparation for reservoir engineers for reserve determinations
  • Preparation of budgeting and planning documents and presentations
  • Interrogation of Corporate databases and generation of query reports
• Production Data Maintenance
  • Maintenance of allAlgeriawell and production data in Corporate systems
  • Introduce OFM production analysis tool into Uxbridge office and perform basic data analysis
  • Develop reporting tools to allow simple QC of data in Houston database and preparation of data for weekly reports
  • Preparation of data for monthly oil entitlement forecasts
  • Input to development of a new system/process to capture and report condensate and LPG production in addition to oil
• Data Management
  • Assistance with, and tracking of, Joint Venture partner data queries
  • Develop a data structure, in conjunction with Geoscience Technologist, to capture and maintain key Operator geotechnical data - well data, reports, models, etc
  • Assist Records Department with QC and improved cataloguing of existing data
  • Develop longer term solution for data currently stored outside Corporate systems

Education:

• Engineering or Technology Degree (preferably)

Experience:

• Prior experience working as a reservoir or production engineering technologist
• Must be highly proficient using Excel, MS Word, Powerpoint
• Experience using petroleum engineering related software such as OFM

Non-Essential Job Functions:

• Data preparation for and basic running of VIP reservoir simulation software
• Performing basic economic runs using PEEP
