Qualifications and experience

The ideal candidate should have:

A relevant degree

Minimum 5 years experience in structural analysis and engineering within the Oil & Gas Industry.

Experienced in structure modelling and analysis for offshore structures, lift analysis, load out, transport analysis etc.

Previous experience of either Strucad, STAAD and/or FS2000 would be advantageous. Experience of drilling structures or offshore structures would also be an advantage.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for technical, engineering and design workscopes, carrying out design reviews and performing design verification. The work is interesting and varied and offers the opportunity to work within a small engineering and projects team engaged in the upgrade, design and redesign of drilling structures. The position offers an interesting and varied range of projects and is deemed to be a long term position.
