Receptionist - Abu Dhabi, UAE

SUMMARY OF JOB PURPOSE: Provides general facilities administration support appropriate for the functional area. Provides a variety of routine/standardized administrative and secretarial support services to a department or group of professionals.

KEY DUTIES: The duties itemized below require the application of standardized procedures, processes, and techniques in response to routine daily operations. Key duties may include:


  • Serve as receptionist/telephone operator
  • Prepare and process incoming/outgoing calls
  • Prepare and process shipping packages
  • Check the invoice for shipping packages
  • Facilitate to identifying the proper charge codes
  • Compile list of calls and circulate for charge codes
  • Arranges meetings, conference calls, booking conference rooms etc
  • Operate photocopy/scanner/fax machine to complete routine photocopy/scanning/faxing assignments
  • Greet the visitors and help them meeting
  • Perform custodial work
  • Other duties as assigned


EDUCATION: Graduate or equivalent

JOB EXPERIENCE: 2 to 3 years general work experience

SPECIALIZED SKILLS:


  • Arabic speaker preferable
  • Basic skills required to operate business equipment associated with mailroom, copy center, and telephone/reception areas. Basic knowledge of Windows environment required.
  • Physical activity may include some or all of the following: bending, stooping, walking, pushing, lifting, and climbing stairs and/or ladders.
  • Basic secretarial and administrative skills and knowledge.
  • Basic personal computer and software skills required including Word and Excel.
  • Working knowledge and application of basic company policies, procedures, techniques and processes.
