Job Description
Our client are a leading Oil and Gas company based in the city centre of Aberdeen. They are currently looking to recruit for a Sales Ledger Clerk on a temporary basis.


Responsibility
•Preparation and processing of sales invoices - to include collating all supporting documentation, obtaining authorisation of invoices in accordance with company procedures, together with dealing with any customer queries.

•Multi-currency transactions
•Ad hoc reports and administrative duties as and when required
•Actively promote the integration, implementation and standardisation of systems, procedures & controls across AGR companies. Continually work to develop good working practices and knowledge share where appropriate.
•Work closely with fellow team members to meet and exceed stretch targets
•List is not exhaustive but highlights a number of the major tasks expected of the role.


Functional reporting & support to:

Assistant Accountant
Financial Controller
Finance members ; Finance team &; local AGR personnel
Engender and promote good working relations with Business units and within Finance unit.



Key competencies:
•Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
•Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Navision Accounting s/w (Nav 5) would be an advantage
•Sound planning and administration skills. Ability to manage workload and prioritizing where necessary
•Basic knowledge of statutory and financial processes

Qualifications
Direct Experience or equivalent
