The project engineering manager is responsible for all the engineering work performed as part of the project scope.

Engineers fulfilling this position shall have a wide range of experience, high acceptance of responsibility and accountability, capability to manage both upwards and downwards, technical and commercial ability, team focused skills.

(Essential Requirements)

•Degree in Engineering (preferably Civil or Mechanical) or Chartered Engineer.

•Strong knowledge of offshore installation including umbilicals, rigid, subsea structures, spools, precommissioning, survey

•Strong knowledge in design, including flow assurance, rigid risers and flowlines, subsea structures

•More than 8 years experience in the offshore oil industry.

•Ability to work in an international environment, Chinese speaking would be a plus.

•Be a leader in HSE.

MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES:

•Managing and coordinating all engineering disciplines in the project by providing leadership, expertise and direction

•Ensuring that the installation engineers produce technically sound, practical Installation engineering solutions to project challenges in accordance with Company standards and client specifications

•Ensuring that the design engineers produce technically sound, practical design solutions to project challenges in accordance with Company standards and client specifications

•Ensuring that project engineering team delivers quality engineering services to the client.

•Ensuring that HSE requirements are inherent to all engineering work performed on the project

•Preparing and following the planning of the engineering work, in line with project planning requirement

•Ensuring timely issuance of engineering documents

•Ensuring the consistency of engineering deliverables with the needs of procurement and construction activities

•Assist the procurement team to ensure all equipment are delivered on time and as per specifications

•Assist the operation team during the offshore phase

•Assisting the project manager with preparation of the technical parts of the variation orders

•Managing the interfaces with partners and other client’s subcontractors

•Ensuring the project engineering team is properly staffed and focused on project objectives
