Job Description
The Company:
Our client is a major Oil & Gas operator, active worldwide working to meet the world's growing demand for energy by exploring for oil and natural gas, refining and marketing gasoline, producing chemicals and researching renewable technologies.

The Role:
The Offshore Project Engineer will need to be proficient in the areas of design, mechanical and pipeline engineering. They will be responsible for providing technical input for all aspects of the offshore marine facilities, working collaboratively with other members of the offshore team and engineering team. The offshore marine facilities construction scope calls for construction of:

5.6km subsea loading line, 42 diameter w/concrete coating.
Installation of a pipe line end manifold (PLEM).
Installation of a single point mooring (SPM) and associated subsea hoses and tanker mooring jewelery.
Integration of emergency shutdown (ESD) and SPM telemetry with existing loading control system.

Russian Citizenship or current work permit is a MUST.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Design & detail engineering of piping/pipeline systems, knowledge and understanding off P&IDs.
Piping/Pipeline design calculations by ASME B 31.3, B 31.8 & B 31.4.
International Standards/Codes API, ASME, ASTM and Russian piping GOST standards
Piping/pipeline routing & plot plans, pipeline alignment and profile, layouts and isometric drawings.
Familiar with offshore inspection methods.
Knowledge of corrosion in the offshore environment.
Familiar with scour protection and installation of offshore pipelines and structures.
Familiar with pipeline and riser span calculations
Familiar with calculation of offshore pipeline expansion
Proficient in riser and pipeline wall thickness calculations
Knowledge of on-bottom stabilities
Familiar with pigging operations
Stress analysis of underground/above ground lines by Caesar-II.
Piping/valve material specification, data sheets.
Bill of material for procurement.
Design pipeline and piping drawings and checking.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Understanding of stress analysis. Software proficiency in CAESAR-II a great plus.
Responsible for high quality technical solutions for onshore marine terminal piping / mechanical.
Responsible for quality performance.
Manage engineering contractor relationships, ensuring transparent and ethical relationships are maintained with contractors and key stakeholders.
Drive high quality detailed design deliverables.
Ensure good definition and management of interfaces.
Provide engineering support for Offshore Construction Manager as needed during offshore construction campaign.
Ensure appropriate Operations input to the commissioning program.
