Orion Group is a global supplier of contract, temporary and permanent personnel who specialise in the Oil & Gas, mining and engineering industries.

Our client is currently seeking a Civil Engineer to join this large scale global project, based in Australia with travel internationally when required and relocation to Darwin during later phases of the project.

You will be responsible for design and constructability reviews and ensure supplier documentation is completed in a timely manner. You will be required to supervise the contractor's design, planning and field activities.

Key accountabilities include:

• Supervision of pre-EPC activities, such as site surveying.
• Supervision of Civil construction in EPC phase.
• Coordination with the relevant authorities.
• Supervise the contractor's design, planning and field activities as for Civil
• Supervise OBT (Open Book Tendering) process and respond to appropriate issues

Key requirements include:

• Bachelor Degree or relevant tertiary qualification
• Minimum 10 years in Civil design, construction and project management
• Familiar with Australian codes and regulations
• Oil & Gas experience preferred
• Preferable having experience of Civil projects in Northern Territory
