81574 - Brownfield Project Engineer 2

Our client is one of the world's largest energy companies employing over 80,000 personnel and operating in over 100 countries worldwide with expertise covering a range of energy sources.

They are currently recruiting for the position of Brownfield Project Engineer 2, based in Baku.

Job Description

• Attend safety meetings, tool box talks, carry out site HSE checks, risk assessments
• Attend manage weekly/adhoc discipline interface meetings covering Commissioning/ HU&C/Operations, Pipelines as required
• Project Engineering input to all discipline queries (SEQ's, CCN's, ECR's etc)
• Attend weekly Company Engineering meetings, liaise with clients on Brownfield delivery issues
• Network with engineering, fabrication, and construction contractors to ensure alignment on delivery against the plan
• Coordinate construction vendor input. Liaise with Vendor coordinator to ensure timely availability of vendors offshore
• Manage and coordinate Brownfield related actions from Contractors weekly/daily Mechanical Completion meetings to support timely handover
• Provide Brownfield input to all site Discipline meetings/interfaces covering Construction, Structural, Mechanical, Piping, E&I, Pipelines & T&I
• Ensure the implementation of engineering procedures, work priorities and changes. Perform regular audits to ensure compliance
• Liaise with the B/F Construction Engineer and Operations T/L to ensure smooth transition from mechanical completion/commissioning through to SH1 handover
• Liaise with Operations to ensure alignment exists between all parties for the successful delivery of the Brownfield and operations activities

Skills & Experience

• A recognised technical qualification as a minimum
• Experience in Brownfield facilities engineering, construction and commissioning in the Oil and Gas industry
• Registered fit, able and willing to travel and to work in Azerbaijan, and to be able to travel offshore having the necessary medical and FF/survival certification to do so
• Expected to demonstrate suitable interpersonal skills to facilitate delivery of work from a diverse team including Engineering, Construction, Commissioning, Operations and our contractors
• IT skills suitable to prepare spreadsheets and reports to communicate project status to the PMT

Azerbaijan local national salary and terms apply.

This is a contract position.

The rate for this position is negotiable.
