Our client, a leading EPCM on one of the worlds largest natural gas developments is currently seeking for a Telecommunication Project Manager for a Perth-based position.


The Telecommunications Project Manager is required to lead the Telecommunications & Electronic Systems project team in the implementation of the Telecommunications and Electronic Systems necessary to support the execution phase of the Project EPCM works. The position's primary responsibility is to ensure that all necessary core infrastructure and services are adequately designed and delivered in a timely and cost effective manner to support the construction and, where applicable, the operations phase of three x LNG Trains to be situated on-site.


Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • At least 15 years of experience
  • Strong Project Management experience with large and complex contracts
  • Strong delivery and performance orientation with emphasis on HSE and quality
  • Broad ranging communications project experience. Skill sets include: SATN, OSP, Structured Cabling, Telephony (inc PSTN, PABX), Data Services, Tactical Radio (VHF, UHF), Safety and Security Systems, NOCs and TERs/TCs.
  • Project philosophy makes significant use of IP technologies and thus experience with VoIP and IPTV is advantageous
  • Previous demonstrable experience as EPCM Project Manager with ability to lead and develop a team
  • Previous demonstrable execution and operations support experience
  • Strong report writing, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in the development, monitoring and controlling of budgets and management of contracts
  • Degree qualified
  • Significant experience in Australian & International Codes and Standard
