Our Client, one of the worlds leading engineering, project management and consultancy companies currently has vacancy for a Process Technical Authority to be based in Dyce, Aberdeen.

Job Description.

Leadership of Discipline personnel (staff & contractors) by setting an example of expected engineering standards Managing discipline organisation - personnel & contractors (where appropriate)

Compliance with Asset Integrity Assurance Framework with respect to discipline activities Achieving discipline asset integrity performance standards.

Quality of discipline aspects of Asset development proposals and their implementation,by the review and comment on Project documentation.

Purpose/Role Execute process discipline engineering activities within the budget and schedule, maintaintechnical integrity.

Key aims and objectives.

To act at all times in accordance with the Policy on Health, Safety and the Environment Supervise Graduate and Senior Process Engineers

Shall ensure that all allocated responsibilities are dealt with properly.

Ensure that the client business drivers and company performance incentives are fullyunderstood by all discipline personnel being supervised.

Maintain technical integrity within discipline.

Prime responsibilities and duties

Achieve safety standards as defined in personal performance contract Responsible for assessing effectiveness of working practices and systems with a view to continuously improving systems, personal and team performance.

Carry out work in accordance with relevant Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality systems.

Ability to handle discussions and run meetings with client engineers Ability to run groups in development of studies and Front End Engineering Development projects and Detailed Engineering projects.

Ensure that the technical competence of Process engineers is matched to the work in hand Maintain the required technical quality of work produced by discipline assigned staff.

Ensure that the work output of discipline engineers complies with the relevant procedures

Provide technical assistance to discipline staff as required

Ensure, as far as is practically possible, that all assigned work is carried out in compliance with agreed budget and schedule

Keep up to date with technical developments, National and International standards and legislative requirements related to the general scope

Assist in developing the knowledge and skills of the Process Engineers, including assisting in the training and technical development of engineers.

Prepare estimates and assist in the review of proposed schedules

Qualifications
Bachelors Degree or equivalent
