Job Description
The Company:
It is an international supplier of process technology, products, engineered systems and technical services to the petroleum refining, petrochemical, gas processing and energy industries and is a leader in the research and development of petroleum and petrochemical processing.

The Role:
As Chemical Engineer (Process Engineer) you will work in the Solid State Polycondensation (SSP) and Hydrogen Process Group which is responsible for the sales technical support Engineering Design, Control systems programming / design, Start-up and Troubleshooting of Purification technologies

As a Chemical Engineer (Process Engineer) your main duties will involve:

Working closely with the sales persons, technically qualifying inquiries, presenting the technologies and specific solutions to customers.
Enabling a smooth transition of a project once sold into engineering, start-up. Participating in the early phase of engineering, P&ID review meetings, basic engineering design,
Control Systems Engineering, HAZOP meetings and start-ups is envisaged.
Using simulation tools to provide SSP or Hydrogen Purification Solutions for customers.
Respond to customer's with technical questions
Working with a worldwide technical team in the areas of Sales Technical Support, Engineering, Development, Start-up and Troubleshooting to enhance technology improvements and consistency.
Reporting and analysing all the SSP inquiries and preparing the technical proposal.
Programming and/or FAT of control systems

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
As a Chemical Engineer (Process Engineer) you will have experience:
Strong technical skills in Process engineering.
Affinity for the Refining & Petrochemicals Industry, Engineering, Research and Development.
Ideally Degree qualified (Chemical Engineering preferred).
Able to communicate effectively in English. All other languages are an asset.
Experience in programming of PLC-based control systems is an asset.
Experience in polymers technology is an asset.
Experience in Hydrogen purification technology (PSA or membranes) is an asset.
