This is a SUPERB STAFF POSITION to work on a very interesting project to take a LEAD role in the specifying / planning of the INSPECTION and subsequent certification of major PLANT at a refinery in DORSET.

Is all @ existing, operating facilities, in some cases operating satisfactorily for many years. A part of the work will be to assess the likely life-expectancy and to identify key risk areas. You should therefore be fully familiar with ALL RELEVANT PLANT INSPECTION ISSUES (including Pressure vessels, tanks etc.) and have a relevant CERTIFICATION / ACCREDITATION yourself (such as ASME / API / possibly C-SWIP)...

The role is a STAFF / Permanent position and as-such, has no end-date.

Knowledge of the relevant standards is essential. For the avoidance of doubt, this is NOT a Weld Insp’ role... Will be tanks, boilers, piping, other pressure vessels... Static Plant... etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc...

INCORPORATED or CHARTERED Engineer is NOT essential, but you should have either a Degree in a relevant discipline, or at the very least, have a HNC / HND. You will need excellent communication skills for this exciting role.
