Functional Planner (Sub Sea Execution) Angola Activity Planning Team

Responsibilities

Align allSubSeaactivities to minimise operational risk and ensure safe operations.

• Develop detailed activity plans for the Sub Sea Function, which are based on 4 time horizons 8 Quarter, 16 Week, 8 Week and a 2 Week execution schedule. Each of which developed to an appropriate level detail ie Level 1,2,3 and 4 activity plans.

• Working closely with Sub Sea functional manager and the wider team create high quality plans which meet specific planning “gate” criteria. Which in turn support long term delivery of the regions Business Plan Elements.
• Provide appropriate information to the Cost Engineering team Vessel utilisation, progress and VOWD.
• Drive the alignment of activities to maximise resource/vessel utilisation and highlight any functional/operational constraints.
• Support the implementation and use of Planning / Performance indicators and the resulting improvement actions.
• Facilitate integrated functional planning meetings between the offshore, Luanda, Sunbury and support contractors.
• Support the wider team in the effective use of the activity planning process and the associated tools.
• Lead on the effective use of Maximo v5 and Primavera (P6) in line with the BP Activity planning process.

Essential Experience:

• Many number of years’ experience planning/scheduling in oil/gas sector
• Expert user of Primavera
• Proven track record of delivery in demanding environments.

Desirable Experience

• Practical experience of Sub Sea construction/operations
• Knowledge of the development and implementation of effective Vessel utilization strategies.
• Experience of supporting deepwater construction/operations
