Our client is looking to recruit a Permit Coordinator.

Key responsibilities

Twice daily preparation of work permits.

Issue of PTWs and the monitoring and controlling of simultaneous and adjacent work scopes, including the resolution ofany conflicts between work scopes.

Identification of plant, equipment, and process isolations within the bounds of the Permit to Work System and ensuring that equipment isolations are correctly displayed on the mimic board.

Carry out Risk Assessment exercises and direct maintenance teams in

Toolbox Talks as appropriate.

Ensure Gas meters are maintained and calibrated, and conduct Gas Tester training as required.

Input to and monitoring of Health, Safety and Environmental performance targets, and actions proposed to achieve these.

Participation in worksite inspections and PTW audits.

Active participation in departmental safety meetings.

Requirements

An enthusiastic self starter who is capable of making calculated decisions.

Applicants must have offshore

(Production) experience in a similar role, and have I high attention to detail and a good safety culture.
