The Company:
Our client is a leading global oil and gas operating company.
The Role:
Supports the PSCM Processes and Procedures initiatives across a variety of activities including facilitation, data gathering, process development and documentation, metrics development, and continuous improvement. Supports team and clients to ensure that PSCM processes efficiently align with business needs and objectives. Facilitates updates and upgrades to PSCM process documents and communication vehicles such as the PSCM Alaska website.
Location Anchorage, AK USA
Key accountabilities
Facilitate and support cross-functional process teams in root cause analysis and development of improved process design
Work with systems specialists to understand and incorporate technology
Identify improvement solutions to streamline and simplify existing and new processes
Assist in delivery of new functionality
Identify best business practice approaches to determine improve and/or revised ways of working for the process being managed
Identify feedback mechanisms to ensure processes defined or implemented are aligned to efficient operation
Monitor processes and publish actual performance against expected performance
Interview Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and develop detailed process maps
Data gathering and benchmarking
Flow chart and document development
Act as central point of contact for gathering feedback on processes
PSCM website administration
Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Essential criteria & qualifications
(The absolute minimums to do the job)
Bachelors Degree in Business, or other related skill
3 Years of process development or technical writing experience
Process alignment skills
Advanced Word, Excel and Visio skills
Internet savvy
Solid communication skills including ability to listen, understand business issues, and analyzing data to resolve process inefficiencies
Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Desirable criteria & qualifications
Oil & gas industry experience
Experience with supply chain management process development and controls a plus
