Reporting to the Manager, Commercial Western Australia and Northern Territory (WANT), the Senior Commercial Advisor is responsible for the commercial functional support across all aspects of the business unit’s Carnarvon assets. This includes representing Santos in all commercial negotiations and contributing to maximizing Carnarvon Assets sales proceeds, minimizing revenue risk and maximising Santos allocation of sales proceeds.

As the Senior Commercial Advisor, your key responsibilities will include negotiating and reviewing Terms of Reference, Heads of Agreement, Sales and Purchase Agreements to help drive domestic gas, oil and LNG strategy and marketing opportunities for Santos. You will evaluate opportunities to add value through enhancements of assets as well as maintaining appropriate protocols over commercially sensitive marketing information.

To be successful for this opportunity you will have relevant tertiary qualifications in accounting, economics or commerce, or a technical degree. Key to the success of this appointment is establishing relationships with internal stakeholders from multi-disciplinary teams in addition to existing and targeted gas customers. Your strong facilitation and negotiation skills in marketing, commercial and joint venture management involving multi-million dollar projects within the oil and gas sector, in addition to proven experience in leading multi-disciplinary teams will be held in high regard.
