The Company:
Our client is a leading oil and LNG producer based in Qatar with a broad range of assets and joint venture exploration and production agreements. To fit in with continued plans for growth we are now looking to identify an experienced Commercial Advisor for a key role to be based in Qatar and are keen to receive applications from candidates with a track record in negotiating and management of production sharing agreements for oilfield developments.

The Role:
The successful candidate will be tasked with the following key activities:

The planning, administration and evaluations of production sharing agreements.
Responsibility for driving the negotiation and contractual sign off for production sharing agreements within the storage and marketing of crude oil
Overseeing legal and commercial governance for exploration agreements

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
This is an excellent opportunity with long term career prospects and we are seeking applicants with the following skills and experience:

B.Sc. degree in petroleum or chemical engineering
Oil and gas experience in the Middle East
Track record in providing technical and commercial input into the planning of production sharing agreements
Excellent business negotiation and communication skills
Arabic language skills (desirable)
