Job Description
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Lay-out, build, test, and troubleshoot electronic components, parts, switches, panels, electronic equipment, and systems.

Repair and modify electrical components.

Diagnose cause of electronic or mechanical malfunction or failure of operational equipment, and perform preventive and corrective maintenance.

Recommend changes in circuitry or installation specifications to simplify assembly and maintenance.

Know and understand Company Quality Policy and comply with all requirements of the Quality Systems Manual, Operating and Technical Procedures and Workplace Instructions.

Must understand and comply with all safety rules and company policies.

Work assignments carried out to the highest quality level.

Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.

Any other delegated responsibilities as instructed by Line Management within the timeframe specified in a safe and efficient manner to meet business requirements, provided the instruction is reasonable and you are capable and deemed competent to fulfil these.


QUALIFICATIONS

Essential - Completion of Electronic Technologist school courses

Preferred - Graduation from Electronic Technologist program is preferred


EXPERIENCE/COMPETENCE


Essential

Solid electronic troubleshooting skills

Significant experience

Applicant must possess mechanical skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills


Preferred

Previous Open and Cased Hole Wireline experience as well as experience with various software packages such as word processors, spreadsheets, and databases would be an asset

Experience with Sondex and Warrior products would be an advantage
