Report to: Hierarchically to EP Onshore Site Head or HR Functionally to Head of Medical

Services

Purpose:

Job holder will be the focal point tor Medical Emergency Response activities and the coordination of Medical and Occupational Health inspections and related compliance activities at Bolashak site.

Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

· To provide advice to the Site Management on medical emergency response issues

· To be Medical Emergency On-Scene Commander as part of Bolashak Site Emergency Response Team

· To have an active involvement in emergency response planning at Bolashak site from the medical response perspective

· To manage day-to-day Samal dune operations related with Emergency Response in tine with Company quality management system and good medical practices

· To provide training in first aid (basic to advance and ore-hospital care for site accidents and incidents This will be delivered to members o* the Emergency Response Teams i e first alders and stretcher team

· To provide training in triage, patient resuscitation, extrication and transport for the companys site medical staff. ERT members, stretcher bearers, etc

· Review medical response in terms of personnel and equipment for major incident plans at Bolashak site

· Coordinate the monitoring of availability, functionality and condition of all Bolashak site Company and Contractor medical facilities, stretchers, first act points

· To be a team member m review of occupational hearth requirements and implements lion with respect to Botasfiak site activities

· Local coordination of any company-wide health promotion programme at Bolashak site

· To provide support to Occupational health section of Health Services Department as directed by the Health Services Manager

Reporting

· Weekly activity report to Atyrau head of Medical Services and head of Occupational Hearth

· Reports as required by tasks above

· Attendance at Bolashak site HSE and ER related meetings as agreed with Line Management

· Written handover at each crew change.

Safety Responsibilities:

Demonstrate a personal commitment lo Health Safety and the Environment by following

· Kazakhstan Statutory Heath. Safety & Environmental Regulations

· The companys Corporate Health. Safety & Environment Policy, and applying for the companys safety management system.

Main Interfaces:

Company

· Hierarchically report to EP Onshore Site Head of HR

· The job holder has direct functional reporting line with Head of Medical Services for medical issues and coordination and report of activities to Head of Occupational Health for OH issues Day-to-day communications interfaces would be with Site Manger or his delegate and with Head of HSE

· Permanent and dose coordination of activities with Company's medical staff on site

External

· The JOD holder has interfaces with Contractor HSE personnel and Contractor line management personnel in relation to medical emergency response provision occupational health and hygiene and food safety management issues

Qualifications & Experience:

The job holder must have.

· Qualified as either as a Registered Nurse or Registered Paramedic or military equivalent

· Have a valid UK HSE Offshore Medics Certificate or equivalent

· Valid pre-hospital trauma and advanced life support certification

· Recognised qualification in food safely at minimum of Level 3 (Intermediate)

· NEBOSH Certificate or Equivalent Experience (Level 3) is Strongly desirable

· Minimum of 10 years operational experience as a paramedic ' medic, with at least 6 yea's as a remote site or offshore paramedic

· Experience m clinic management

· Previous experience in conducting training In first aid and pre-hospita1 medical care

· Previous experience Of oil and gas operations the Former Soviet Union would be highly beneficial - as would Knowledge of Republic of Kazakhstan Regulatory Codes and Laws
