Job Description

Your responsibilities:

You are responsible for planning and consolidating demand for optimum running of operations and

obtaining best possible commercial terms

Keep demand generation under control both in quality (appropriate specs) and quantity

Drive a standardisation strategy aimed to reduce number of items, complexity and costs

Setting up optimum inventory rules to drive down committed capital, reducing infrastructure needs while providing service levels required by business lines

The tasks of the Department Manager Demand Management include: leading demand planning and

execution team, leading the standardisation and specification team as well as leading the inventory

management team

Interfacing with other departments instrumental in Demand (Procurement, functions)

Your profile:

University degree in business administration, economics or engineering (preferred)

Minimum of 10 years experience in Oil and Gas industry

Experience in supply chain highly desirable (warehousing, procurement, inventory management)

Good understanding and previous experience with supply chain ERP systems (SAP MM, PM)

Prior experience in equipment standardisation preferred

Excellent understanding of oil and gas technologies

Highly strategic thinking and understanding link between demand operations and financial results

Strong analytical and communication skills as well as strong people management skills

Excellent written and spoken English
