Job Description

SERVICE DIMENSIONS

  • He shall be responsible of the good execution in all project aspects as Contract Holder and administrator for supply chain management (transportation, storage, preservation, .. etc), Subcontracts management, including but not limited to Safety, Security, Environment, Schedule control, Quality control, Cost control, Human resources and Insurances.
  • His main duties will be to assist the Upstream Manager with the coordination of engineering follow up, procurement, expediting and deliveries, materials storage to support construction requirements.
  • He will report directly to Upstream manager.
  • Working environnent: International, multi discipline / multi cultural environnent.
  • Company staff managed: Directly 10 Company personnel.
  • He will be acting as Deputy Upstream Manager.



ACTIVITIES

He will organise the coordination and contractual follow-up with Upstream Manager, Engineering Manager, Materials Manager, Construction Manager, and Services Manager:

  • He will ensure that engineering drawing, specification, detailed procedures, method statements are timely available to support procurement, fabrication and construction/commissioning.
  • He will assist to identify any deviation, materials deliveries and shortages, additional materials procurement, required vendors mobilization, third party requirements.
  • He will develop and organise close follow up for material and equipment storage, transportation, preservation, and allocation to construction contractor.
  • He will support the progress of the site execution during construction, pre-commissioning and commissioning activities.
  • He will closely monitor the schedule and act as interface leader between the procurement and construction phases. He will assist Upstream Manager to check the progress and schedule in order to achieve the completion dates as per contract.

ACCOUNTABILITY

  • To ensure in its area that CONTRACTOR is properly performing the Work as per contract requirements and objectives of our client (HSE, Quality, schedule and costs targets) and as per SOR (FEED).
  • To avoid Contractual issues.
  • To report properly to the hierarchy and stakeholders.
  • Crucial Contractual role in his area.
  • Responsible for Contract, Schedule, Costs, Safety, Environment and Quality targets compliance.


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE

  • Engineer with 8 - 10 years experience in the oil and gas industry.
  • Able to identify, analyse and solve problems (HSE, technical, procurement, transportation, storage and preservation, engineering, construction, quality control, schedule, costs)
  • Strong Contractual background and fluent in English (speaking and writing) with strong communication skills.
  • Able to work as part of a team and able to accept strong responsibility
  • Willing to contribute and adhere to the Safety and Environment requirements of the Project
  • Experienced with proper technical level of understanding of all the disciplines involved, with at least 6 years experience in the context of oil and gas projects.
