URGENT!!! CLOSING DATE FOR APPLICATION: 15th March 2010
Ou Client, a major Oil and Gas company is looking for a Contract Engineer with extensive experience OF Civil Construction and Buildings.
Location & Scheme: Port Harcourt, single residential status. 5 Company paid flights per 12 months period for home leave (Lump Sum Euros 2,850/), exclusive of Mob/Demob flight.
Responsabilities include but not limited to:
* Preparation, Negotiation, Defence & Settlement of Claims
* Manage Contract, Cost and Planning staff as required on the Package.
* Finalise Tender Documents, participate in prequalification of tenderers, deal with queries during the bid phase, perform bid evaluation and participate in negotiations.
* Ensure the application and respect of the procedures in the tender process,
* Preparation and expediting of the Contracts / Purchase Orders documents
Required background, qualifications:
* Extensive experience of Civil Construction and Buildings.
* Minimum of 10 years work experience in Management of Contracts and Commercial Management
* Degree in Contract Management or Quantity Surveying is Preferable
* Fluent in English, Strong Communication skills, Autonomous, Highly motivated, Rigorous.
