Hays Energy are working in partnership with an international engineering consultancy who are looking for Civil Design Engineers to be based from either Edinburgh, Aberdeen, Dundee or Inverness. This is an excellent opportunity for anyone looking to progress their career within the transmission sector which involves working within a design team focusing on high-profile Overhead Lines and Substation Projects. You will be involved in project engineering and detailed design of the foundations of transmission projects (132KV-400KV)for major client companies. Candidates with electrical design experience will also be of interest. All levels of experience being considered and salary will vary depending on the candidate but will be between 35000 - 55000.
Candidate Specifications;

- Previous experience working on civils design for transmission projects either Overhead Lines or Substations (132-400KV).
- Have a degree in either Civil or Electrical Engineering.
- Engineering requirements for transmission networks in the UK relevant to Civil Design.
- Previous experience working for an Engineering Consultancy will be a benefit.
