CCL cclglobal.com has been requested by a leading Oil & Gas Energy company active in exploration & production to provide a Training Advisor. Client is recruiting new hires with petroleum mechanical & electrical backgrounds and is planning training apprentices & developing competencies according to British NVQ/SVQ system. Project gap analysis development & implementation will be delivered by an external training organisation. Training Advisor will monitor design & implementation of training representing clients interests. Residential position based in Tripoli with regular trips to desert facilities / training centre. Expected duration of work is 2 years under 1 year renewable contract. Excellent daily rates / T&Cs. Well educated. Trained as Internal Verifier. In-depth knowledge of British NVQ / SVQ system. Excellent organisation & communication skills. Proficient computer user. Fluent written & spoken English. Knowledge of Arabic an advantage. Experience in implementing training initiatives. Ability to act as mentor to Head of Training & Development. Occupational background in Oil & Gas industry is beneficial. Will ensure effective training in terms of cost & attainment of knowledge. Also ensure specified levels of competence. Undertake QA / QC of services of external training partner. Train & support Head of Training & Development / ensure proper handover. Act as liaison between training organisation training partner & management. Undertake full range of internal verification for various assessors & employees according to UK NVQ / SQV system. Support & guide assessors to meet standards set by client & awarding organisations. Participate in review of learning materials provided by training partner.
