REGIONAL TENDERING MANAGER - Gulf
(BASED IN THE UAE)
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Liaises with the Regional Manager in works related to tender estimation of civil, marine and electromechanical works contracts
Liaises with the Electromechanical Works Tendering Manager in works related to tender estimation of multidiscipline works contracts
Leads a group of engineers dealing with technical, commercial and contractual aspects of the tender
Reviews tender documents, time schedules and bills of quantities
Prepares estimates of required resources and costs and works out construction methodologies and subcontracting needs
Communicates with clients as required and works for ensuring optimum tender price as well as effective post award hand over
Requirements:
University degree in Civil Engineering
Ten (10) years experience in construction management (heavy civil, marine, industrial) of which at least three (3) in a similar position
Good knowledge of project execution methodology
High sense of cost awareness
Fluency in written and spoken English Language is essential
Computer literate particularly in programs relevant to estimation
Ability to travel extensively, to work under pressure and challenges outside regular work schedule
