Job Title: Technical Manager - Downstream Location: Doha, Qatar Salary or Rate: Negotiable dependant upon experience (Basic Salary Housing & Transportation Allowance) Duration: Permanent Our major International client within the Oil, Gas and Petrochemical industry requires a "Technical Manager - Downstream" for a permanent position based in Qatar. The main function of the role is to provide technical assurance to Company Management/JV partners to ensure that the definition, development and operation of any company project is undertaken to the required quality and standards. Ensuring that facilities are defined and constructed so that anticipated production levels are acheived. Technical advice will need to be provided during analysis of potential investments and acquisitions. Our client has a remit to invest in overseas projects on behalf of the State of Qatar, to provide additional oil and gas production and reserves, to provide security of supply for oil and gas products to the petrochemicals sector and to develop interests in the gas & power business segments. Knowledge, Skills & Experience: BSC in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent Extensive experience within an Oil and Gas company at management level with excellent knowledge of the industry. Experience in engineering and project management within the Oil and Gas industry is essential.
