Technical Buyer job in Germany
The client
Our client is a manufacturer of equipment to the Oil & Gas industry.
The role
Due to continued growth a vacancy exists for a Technical Buyer.
Central tasks
Preparing and supporting project contract negotiations in cooperation with the respective Supplier Manager;
Preparing project related Invitation to Tenders Tender Comparisons Bid Evaluation Contract reviews;
Organize and set up weekly conference calls with suppliers support Supplier Manager on all project related supply chain activities;
Controlling Purchase Orders and Contracts and information flow to meet project required delivery dates and budget;
Supplying project information to internal Quality Engineering Project Management and external vendors;
Supporting and maintaining of contracts subcontracts and Purchase Orders and Letter of Intents;
Reporting to Supplier Manager on a weekly and monthly base;
Effectively reporting the project schedules customer focused;
General administrative activities;
Maintenance of Supplier data in SAP info records etc;
Responding to ZPLN inter-company sales orders on a regular base;
Qualifications & experience
University degree Business or equivalent education;
Experienced in strategic purchasing for at least 2-3 years in an industrial environment;
Very good understanding of Supply Chain Management and Processes;
Languages: very good English skills spoken and written;
Good background in Microsoft Office and SAP;
Self-employed person with keen perception and high assertiveness;
Good communication and negotiation skills;
Electric/ Mechanical Engineering background is appreciated;
