Our client a Government owned organization proposes an outstanding role for a Shift Supervisor for their pipelines and storage/ship loading station in Jebel Ali - Dubai.
Work location: Dubai
Rotation: 28/28 days monthly salary will be paid during the off period as well.
Status : Single
Duration:Long Term Direct Hire
Medical Insurance : Provided
Transport to and from work location /Accommodation allowance or accomodation will be provided
Mob/demob/leave tickets provided by Company
Job Description:
a Maintain a high standard of HSE excellence and procedural compliance in operations.
b Supervise Operators to include coaching motivating goal setting performance evaluation training etc
cAssist the Electrical Engineer with monitoring & supervising the day to day activities of the rotating E&I Technicians particularly on weekends and holidays.
d Work with Pipeline Engineering to safely and efficiently implement pipeline inspections repairs etc.
e Participate in Maintenance planning and implementation in cooperation with the Operations Supervisor Maintenance Department and Pipeline Department.
f Assist and support Gas System Engineer with supplier nominations dispute resolution and supplier instrument calibrations.

Qualification & Skills required:
- Relevant engineering degree with min of 10 years experience or relevant technical diploma with minimum of 15 years experience.
- 4 years experience in a supervisory role.
- Experience with gas transmission / pipeline systems
- Experienced with control systems and gas processing operations
- Excellent organizational skills
- Excellent decision making ability under stressful and difficult circumstances
- Computer skills Excel Word Email Internet
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and specifications
- Competent with DCS SCADA and pneumatic control systems RTUs ultrasonic meters gas chromatographs SIL systems valves piping etc.
