Our Client has a vacancy for a Systems Optimization Specialist, based in Baku, Azerbaijan. This is a contract position.

Azerbaijan local national salary and terms of employment will apply.

Accountabilities:
Maintenance, analysis and enhancement of existing applications and tools for greater flexibility and performance within and by Document & Management Team.
Identify and take the lead in new application development.
Ability to solve complex technical problems quickly .
Support Document & Management Team with technical issues.
Full Awareness of Document & Management Processes and Procedures.
Detailed reporting to Interface Document Management Lead.

Essential criteria & qualifications:
Previous experience in developing software applications including: analysis, design, coding, testing, deploying and supporting of applications.
Strong knowledge of Database Systems.
University Degree on Technical Education or equivalent background knowledge.
Strong knowledge and abilities within MS Access, Microsoft SQL, Visual Basic & Web applications.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Good Knowledge of English, Azeri & Russian languages.
Demonstrated ability to identify and implement opportunities for improvement.

Desirable criteria & qualifications:
Strong communication skills
Be a self-starter, innovative and able to identify priorities
Willingness to take up new tasks
Knowledge of Sharepoint, Business Objects, HTML, XML, Oracle
