I am currently looking for a "Systems Completions Mechanical Lead" for a long-term contract role based in Italy or Norway.
The right candidate must have OPERATOR experience.
Accountabilities and End Results:
Participation in and verification of establishing the computerised Completion Management System by developing the subsystem breakdown and population of the Mechanical Completion and Commissioning Data bases with the required contract engineering information by Subsystem.
During the yard fabrication he/she will monitor and verify the execution of Mechanical Completion whilst validating and accepting MC / Precommissioned Subsystems, Systems and punch lists following on with the execution of onshore dynamic System Commissioning and offshore reinstatement, Commissioning and assist Operations during start up.
Critical Skills:
Extensive knowledge, understanding and work history in Greenfield & Brownfield Commissioning preparation, implementation and execution.
Thorough understanding of PTW systems
Understanding in Commissioning Completion Management Systems and handover particularly major offshore oil and gas facilities.
Min 15 years offshore oil and gas background
Ability to build a strong relationship with key fabricator personnel.
Strong communications and networking skills.
Highly developed influencing and interpersonal skills.
Enthusiastic with a questioning and challenging attitude.
Planning and organisation competency.
Ability to make rational decisions when under pressure.
Preferred Requirements
Experience of completion contracts and working as part of a managerial team.
Experience of the needs of other Disciplines and how these link to the Mechanical Completion and Commissioning activities, particularly: EIT, Control Systems, Metering etc.
Knowledge of Document Management Systems as they apply to Projects.
A willingness to listen to others and incorporate best practice.
Current survival and medical certificates are required for offshore travel.
