Our Client is looking for two Supply Team Leaders to woth within their UK Supply Management Team. 

The successful candidate will have some experience with an Oil & Gas company and will have experience with category management processes having managed high value contracts from Pre-Tender Strategy Development through to and including Contract Award and Management.  The incumbent will play a key role within a new structure centred around category management in a successful and dynamic company.

Role Summary:
The team leader will be required to provide strong leadership to direct reports and internal client representatives alike on all aspects of contracting for materials and services in support of the companys UK activity.

The role is expected to contribute significantly to the Companys operational efficiencies Opex and Capex costs production delivery and procurement cycle times whilst ensuring adherence to policies procedures regulations and laws whilst mitigating Companys exposure to relevant risks and liabilities.

The role is embedded within the companys function and forms part of the Category Management Sub-team Leadership. 
Accountable for the procurement process covering all of the key contracts within a single stream of SM Category management namely i.e. Production Operations Wells or Projects.
The minimum number of direct reports will be 3 and these direct reports will be a combination of client staff and Contractor resource - previous management experience is a key element of the requirement
Category Management experience would also prove beneficial for prospective candidates 
For the purposes of the 2009/2010 period the role of Category  Team Leader will be combined with a Category Lead role delivery within either the Drilling/Exploration Category within Wells or the Topside Support within Production/Operations.  

Experience required for the Supply Team Leader role:
Graduate/MBA in Quantity Surveying Business Management Finance Law or other relevant subject.
Appropriate Varied Contracts & Procurement experience within the North Sea environment.
A detailed knowledge of Oil & Gas Supply Chain in areas of Production Operations Wells and Projects within the North Sea.
Some Client experience may be preferred.
Experience of implementing effective Contractor Performance Management Programs.
