Supply Chain Management Engineer job in France
For our client, an international engineering company, we are looking for a Supply Chain Management Engineer.
Within a project team, you will be responsible for the management of the subcontracts for services regarding pipelaying activities on board the assets such as: welding, non destructive testing,field joint coating.
Key responsibilities include:
- Participate to the sourcing, selection and appraisal of suppliers and to the launch of bids,
- Perform evaluation of bids and the technical/commercial/contractual negotiation with suppliers,
- Ensure interface with the other disciplines of the project (Engineering, QC, Operations, HSE, Contract, PM),
- Manage the order and follow the execution of the contracts,
- Guarantee the objectives in term of Cost, Quality and Time.
Requested background
- Experience in subcontracting/ procurement/Supplier Relations and management of these in terms of processes and resources
- Knowledge in welding / NDT
- Excellent written and oral communication skills and fluency in English
- Rigor, organisation and reactivity will be essential to fill in the position
- Strong commercial attitude balanced with significantly contractual experience.
