Job Knowledge Skills & Experience:

The Subsea Specialist shall have knowledge minimum 10 years of experience of manufacture and installation of subsea distribution hardware control systems as well as qualification testing and installation methods. This position relies heavily on communication skills teamwork interface management and coordination skills.

Specific Job Responsibilities:

Liaise with project teams contractors and vendors to ensure subsea hardware related equipment is designed delivered and installed in line with project requirements and objectives.

Participate in design HAZOP HAZIDs and risk assessments

Interface with 3rd party QA/QC to ensure that subsea hardware quality requirements are met.

Follow the Project Schedule against the Plant Schedule/Activities and report any deviation to the COMPANY representative

Participate in pre-commissioning system integration testing installation and commissioning activities of subsea hardware equipment.

Promote safety in all project aspects of vendor manufacturing assembly testing installation and operations.

Reporting:

Daily report with a brief description of the completed activities and upcoming tasks

Weekly report with detail description of the completed activities during the week

Organization:

For day to day activities as part of the project team the position reports to the COMPANY Representative.

Location:

The position is located in Rio de Janeiro Brazil. The start date of the assignment is January 2011 with a duration of approximately 18 months
