Job Description
Our client is an international Consultancy providing design solutions for floating systems, offshore pipelines and subsea production systems
They are now looking for a Pipeline Engineer for their Surrey office
The pipeline engineer is required to have the following:
" Strong experience in the mechanical design and construction of offshore pipelines.
" A good knowledge of the pipeline design process and use of commercially available engineering software and in-house spreadsheets
" Knowledge of finite element programs such as Ansys
" A good knowledge of design codes particularly DNV-OS-F101
" Previous exposure to working on concept selection, FEED and detailed design.
" Ability to work on own initiative
" Experience of working offshore on the installation of pipelines is desirable
" Experience in the design of subsea assemblies and tie-ins is desirable
" Must be a team player
Qualifications
" Bachelor degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering
