Job Description
We are a major EPC contractor based in Aberdeen focused towards the upstream oil and gas industry
We are seeking to recruit a Study Manager with significant experience in the upstream oil and gas industry. The position will involve the leadership of conceptual studies covering the following areas
Turnkey field developments
Satellite field developments to existing host infrastructure
Brownfield modifications, debottlenecking and plant upgrades
Decommissioning projects
The following key skills are essential in this role
Preparation of scope of work and design basis documents
Preparation of CTRs, study schedules and tender documents
Able to lead multi-discipline teams of between 10-50 engineers
Must possess a broad working knowledge of facilities engineering covering
Process engineering
Flow assurance
Equipment rating and sizing
Equipment layout
Electrical generation and distribution
Instrument and control systems
Development and approval of key project management deliverables
Conceptual estimates
High level execution schedules
High quality study reports
Risk registers
Interface registers
A working knowledge of project economics is advantageous
Appreciation of reservoir development issues is advantageous
Qualifications / Knowledge / Experience
BEng Honours minimum preferred
CEng preferred
