Our client is an international energy services company operating in engineering & production facilities, well support and gas turbine services. Employing over 28,000 personnel worldwide they operate in 50 countries. They are currently looking to recruit a Structural Workscope Development Engineer based in Aberdeen.

As Structural Workscope Development Engineer you will be able to work without supervision and should be prepared to work offshore when required.

The ideal candidate will be able to prepare accurate estimates of discipline man-hours, fabrication costs and construction man-hours and should be comfortable with high level of client liaison. You should also possess the ability to undertake project planning of discipline activities and liaise with Client Project Engineers.

A further requirement will be to give engineering support for Repair Orders which are ongoing throughout the year. These are small scopes of work mainly involving replacing like for like corroded steelwork but there is a requirement to have engineering back up at times including the provision of calculations where necessary and engineering checks to the detail drawings.

This is a contract position.

The salary for this position is negotiable.
