Our Client has a vacancy for a Structural Draughtsman, based in Baku, Azerbaijan. This is a contract position.

Responsibilities:
Assist the Fabrication Engineering Coordinator in the control of all aspects of the Baku based structural fabrication-engineering work-scope in accordance with the contract documents and project procedures.
Review client design deliverables & produce structural fabrication drawings in conjunction with the UK fabrication engineering office.
Liaise with the Fabrication Engineering Coordinator and assist in developing the fabrication engineering plan in line with the Contract Master Schedule.
Ensure that all engineering deliverables are issued in accordance with the Contract Master Schedule.
Understand the scope of work and ensure that Contractor supplied material is requisitioned in a timely manner to enable procurement in accordance with the Contract Master Schedule.
Produce nesting "sketches" to efficiently control the utilisation of materials (plate and sections).
Communicate, record and issue design changes to the project team in a timely manner and in accordance with the project procedures.
Ensure that engineering documents are officially distributed via transmittal to the required locations.

Competencies:
An experienced draughtsman in related project work with demonstrated capabilities having successfully undertaken work on structural projects.
