Our client is a global Subsea Construction contractor with its UK Head Office in South West London. Due to an increase in project demand they now require the following candidate:

STRUCTURAL ANALYSIS ENGINEER
Responsible for the performance of structural analysis/engineering work. Within the structural analysis group, primarily performing finite element analysis using Ansys or Abaqus to develop advanced design solutions. Also performance of detailed design calculations for lift rigging, grillage and seafastenings for transportation and installation of large offshore structures.

Experience

Engineering background with strong analytical capability and interest in offshore engineering.
Required Ideally, experience should be gained in marine applications for transportation and lifting of offshore oil and gas structures. Considerable knowledge of industry standard advanced finite element software tolls is essential.

Essential Relevant Engineering Degree (e.g. Civil, Structural Eng etc)
Qualifications

Desirable MSc/PhD qualification in structural engineering.
