Our client is seeking an experienced strategy manager to join their team on a permanent basis.
They key function of the role is to successfully research, formulate, develop and implement long-term strategies to ensure continued growth and maximum exploitation of the opportunities available, based on the attributes and existing and potential capabilities of the company.
We will require the right candidate to have a strong academic background within strategy, transactions or policy ,extensive exposure to the oil and gas industry, previous experience in managing strategy or transformation assignments and experience of commercial due diligence or market assessment underpinned by strong technical knowledge of strategic analytical tools
The Key responsibilities will require the incumbent to:
*Identify and map social, industrial and technology change to project business opportunities of the future.
*Research and document companyÃÂÂs current capabilities from a people, technology and business perspective.
*Forecast future opportunities for the business and communicate these to the senior management in an appropriate manner.
*Assess these opportunities for financial return using appropriate analysis.
*Formulation of specific business plans to take advantage of opportunities including annual strategy plans
*Liaison point on new strategy for all business units

They are offering a good remuneration package for the successful candidate. They are open to negotiate for the right individual the salary package on offer however their remuneration is very competitive within the market and will be discussed further at point of interest.

The successful candidate will possess:
*A broad knowledge of Oil and Gas Sector, its structures, policy areas and industry drivers
*Intellectual mobility, inquisitiveness and an ability to work independently
*Strong numerical, analytical and strategic thinking skills and sound commercial acumen
*Personal drive to deliver tight deadlines
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills
*Flexibility to adapt to a variety of different engagement types, working hours and work environments and locations.
*A Bachelors Degree in policy, social economics or equivalent is required and Post Graduate qualifications would be viewed favourably.
