A major international oil and gas operating company has requested CCL (cclglobal.com) to provide a Senior Well Site Leader to lead overall well wite safety, worksite control and well plan execution of offshore drilling operations following drilling, completion & well test programmes. Operations to be in line with drilling policy / regulatory / environmental compliance. Operations consist of 5 wells in deepwater Mediterranean Sea commencing in mid 2010. Will report to Offshore Wells Team Leader. 28/28 cycle. 1 year renewable contract. Excellent rates / T&Cs. Well education with diploma / degree level education / equivalent / experience. Subsea IWCF well control, UKOOA Medical, Fire fighting & Survival Certification. Computer literate / familiar with modern communication systems / drilling site software. Excellent communication skills & ability to work effectively in multi-cultural environment. Fluent written & spoken English. Arabic a plus. All nationalities considered. Min. 10 years of solid Drilling & Completion Supervisor background. Offshore, Deepwater, Remote operations experience. Duties include: Day to day management of D&C Operations; Driving Safety Leadership; Integrated work planning; Manage contractor & service company performance at site; Manage logistics activity; materials & personnel; Collaborative problem resolution; Activity & daily operational reporting; Well cost reporting / tracking; Ensuring contractor utilisation of contractors Safety Management System; Coach & mentor D&C Well Site personnel; Lead or participate in well planning, pre-spud meetings & wash up meetings to ensure performance delivery, lessons learnt & provide continuous Improvement.
