Job Description

SP/P&ID Coordinator will be part of the process engineering team on projects and their job is to ensure that the Clients requirements are well understood and communicated to all disciplines using SP/P&ID.

Provide training to the SP/P&ID users when required. Ensure that the information between Process Engineers and CAD Designers is managed efficiently and accurately.

Support and Prepare procedures, run SPP&ID reports, and provide progress report to project.

· Degree qualified in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering

· Relevant experience within the oil and gas industry environment using SmartPlant P&ID.

· The primary focus will be technical support of SmartPlant P&ID from Intergraph for local and global process engineering projects.

· Communication Skills. The candidate will be working closely with global engineering IT team supporting multiple local and global process engineering projects. The candidate will have to interface with various engineering teams and support SmartPlant P&ID and its related systems in accordance with company procedures and standards.

· Key responsibilities will be to: Understand user requirements, plan and prioritise work. Configure and deploy SmartPlant P&ID on projects. Provide user and project support. Assist with maintenance company standard SmartPlant P&ID seed.

· Successful completion of the SmartPlant P&ID Administrator training courses provided by Intergraph.

· A good understanding of the main SPP&ID manager tools would be an advantage.

· Excellent understanding of setting up and supporting SmartPlant P&ID projects and associated systems.

· Good understanding of SmartPlant P&ID Customisation techniques using the Automation Layer would be beneficial.

· Knowledge of other Intergraph, AVEVA, Bentley and AutoCAD based products would be advantageous but not essential.
