Job Title: Skill Pool Coordinator Location: Aberdeen Rate/Salary: Neg Duration: 6 months The Company:Our Client are a seabed-to-surface engineering and construction contractor for the offshore oil and gas industry worldwide. They provide integrated services, and they plan, design and deliver complex projects in harsh and challenging environments. They divide their business into principal areas of operation: Subsea Umbilical Risers and Flowlines (SURF), Inspection and Maintenance and Repair (IMR) and Conventional Field Development. The Role: Liaise with Offshore Resources onshore and offshore management regarding development a pool of competent personnel. Ensure possession of the necessary current certification; liaising with respective Employee. Services Centre regarding the booking of training/courses. Liaising with relevant Employee Services Centre to advise and/or assist with issuing of contracts etc. and ensuring that personal details within relevant databases are maintained and up to date. Work closely with the Vessel Coordination teams to deliver personnel to the vessels. Monitor the forecast demand for offshore personnel. Resources management of predicted demand and manage Skillpool to deliver anticipated demand. . Qualifications/Skills: Good understanding of Human Resources activities including contracts. An understanding of the processes required to mobilise and travel personnel to international, offshore worksites (ticketing, visa, work permit, inoculations etc.). IT literate, proficient in the use of MS Office Suite, and have a good working knowledge of the in-house databases and systems used for tracking personnel and reporting.
