Location: Vung Tau, Vietnam

Responsibilities:
1. Site Representative will be a focal point for overall project execution activities at fabrication yard.
2. Responsible for all aspects of fabrication and co-ordination with the construction yard, co-ordinates with engineering team, procurement team, and Project Management and other teams as necessary on all fabrication related activities/issues, by establishing direct communication with all related departments.
3. Oversees development of fabrication schedule and ensures fabrication plans meet project requirements.
4. Responsible for onsite resolution of all fabrication related issues.
5. Reviews fabrication/construction procedures and issue project specific fabrication procedures as required.
6. Ensures fabrication works are performed in accordance with project contractual, codes/standards, approved procedures and project specification requirements.
7. Responsible for Mechanical Completion, Pre-commissioning and Handover for the facilities prior to transferring offshore for installation.
8. In addition to overall responsibilities, will split the responsibility for major facilities with the Construction Superintendent as assigned by the Construction Manager.
9. Reports to the Construction Manager.

Job Requirements:
1. Minimum 15 years experience in management of fabrication activities for offshore oil and gas projects in Company or Contractor positions.
2. Previous experience in management and coordination of fabrication of jacket structures over 5000t and floatover decks of 10,000t plus would be an advantage.
3. Previous experience in SE Asian fabrication yards preferred, and must be experienced in a multi-lingual work environment.
4. Must be pro-active and able to manage construction activities with minimal direct instruction.
5. Must be capable of working as part of a team in a challenging work environment.
6. Good written and verbal communication skills are a requirement.
