Job Title: Service Engineer x 2 Location: Manchester Rate: 17.24 phr PAYE or 19.45 phr Ltd Vehicle Duration: Temp to Perm My client is a leader in power and automation technologies and as a result of an internal promotion I am looking for a Service Engineer with Combined Heat and Power CHP experience to join the business in a field based role and supporting sites in the Manchester/North West. The main focus of the role will be ensure that CHP installations achieve optimum availability and are operated within Health & Safety guidelines. Main duties: - Working in tandom with another Service Engineer Team of 2 - Visit sites across the North West carrying out routine maintenance and periodic services - In house repairs operating in the offices in Manchester - Complete all relevant documentation - Attend training days with company around the UK Essential skills and qualifications The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience in generators and reciprocating engines supported with a background knowledge of control systems. A knowledge of steam or boiler systems would also be beneficial - ideally CHP systems. A relevant electrical and/or mechanical qualification would also be required for this position. As the role is field based a driving licence is essential as is a willingness to travel around the county and occasionally stay away.
