Service / Commissioning Engineer job in UK
Our client is a global leader in electronic security and fire protection. Employing over 80,000 people they operate in a variety of industries including maritime, mining & petrochemicals. They are currently looking to recruit a Service / Commissioning Engineer based in Birmingham.
As Service / Commissioning Engineer your main responsibilities will include:
- Service and maintenance of fire detection & gaseous fire suppression systems
- System fault diagnosis and repair
- Commission and demonstrate fire detection systems
- Upload and modify cause and affect programmes
- Technical support to service team
- Monitor and supervise installation works
- Compliance with quality procedures and documentation
- Participate in emergency call out rota
Qualifications and experience required:
- Minimum 5 GCSE's
- Full UK drivers licence as travel will be involved.
- Experience within fire industry essential.
- Good communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills
