Our client is a global leader in electronic security and fire protection. Employing over 80,000 people they operate in a variety of industries including maritime, mining & petrochemicals. They are currently looking to recruit a Service / Commissioning Engineer based in Birmingham.

As Service / Commissioning Engineer your main responsibilities will include:

• Service and maintenance of fire detection & gaseous fire suppression systems


• System fault diagnosis and repair


• Commission and demonstrate fire detection systems


• Upload and modify cause and affect programmes


• Technical support to service team


• Monitor and supervise installation works


• Compliance with quality procedures and documentation


• Participate in emergency call out rota

Qualifications and experience required:

• Minimum 5 GCSE's


• Full UK drivers licence as travel will be involved.


• Experience within fire industry essential.


• Good communication skills


• Excellent customer service skills


• Organised and punctual


• Team player


• Flexible
