Our client has a vacancy for a Senior Well Completion Engineer based in Libya.

As Senior Well Completion Engineer you will be required to develop workover & completion design and layout optimising the investment and applying the highest standards of engineering integrity safety and environmental protection. You will draft workover plan and support its execution providing engineering advice and update when necessary well design and execution plans.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Overall technical integrity of workover design and execution plans


• Ensuring cost effectiveness of workover and completion design programme


• Workover and completion budget preparation


• Planning end engineer workover and completion operations in order to achieve technical objectives in safe efficient and cost effective manner


• Preparing workover and completion programs including all information as specified in company procedure


• Preparing estimating cost breakdown of workover and completion programs


• Workover and completion operations and expenditure follow-up


• Recommending changes in some aspects of workover & completion program if necessary to improve workover and completion methods


• Tracking and benchmarking workover & completion performance and costs


• Preparing post workover reports and analysis of the instantaneous workover & completion data


• Carrying out special studies and reports on any aspects of workover and completion operations as required


• Investigate the possibility of using intelligent completion in the company fields


• Assisting rig site operations for specific jobs


• Assisting in the preparation and evaluation of tenders regrading workover rigs and all the other operations related to workover and completion such as perforations acid stimulation fracturing dual completion cement bond4G and remedial cement squeezing

This is a contract position with an expected duration of one year and a rotation of 6:3.

The rate for this position is negotiable.
