Position: Senior Safety & Risk Engineer
Location: London
Start: ASAP
Duration: 4 Months 12 Months FEED Work
Role: Contract or Staff
Rate: Negotiable
BRIEF DESCRIPTION
Ability to produce philosophy and formal study documents within reasonable time & of professional quality.
Experience of Concept Phase projects desirable.
Familiar with Safety Case regime for offshore installation and ability to draft a Design Notification.
Knowledge of analytical safety techniques to deliver risk/consequence assessments for offshore installations.
Knowledge of hazardous area classification.
Ability to produce ALARP demonstrations.
Familiar with HSE UK sector offshore regulations safety directives relevant key codes & standards and UK North Sea operations.
Familiar with Norwegian NORSOK standards.
Ability produce agreed deliverables within set deadlines.
Degree qualified and experience in the above areas over a period of a minimum of 10 years
Practical offshore experience would be useful but is not essential.
To start asap one week notice rather than one month
