Job Description
ESSENTIAL SKILLS
Degree in Engineering (Mechanical)
Experience in specification and construction of large rotating machinery:
centrifugal compressors, blowers, pumps, pump seals, etc
Good knowledge of British Standards, EN Standards.
PREFERRED SKILLS
Proven experience of on-site support of Construction
Middle East experience
Knowledge of Shell DEPs
BRIEF JOB DESCRIPTION
Answer Construction Technical Queries
Interpreting drawings and specifications for Construction Contractor,
assessing construction quality and workmanship
Work with Vendor representative to resolve issues
Designing resolutions for field problems or late engineering change
Maintain tracking system for field information requests, material acceptance
requests and engineering change logs
NOTE: this is NOT an Inspection / QC role
Qualifications
Bachelors Degree or equivalent
