Job Title: Senior QA Engineer Location: Aberdeen Rate/Salary: Neg Duration: Ongoing The Company: Our client appears in the FTSE 100 index and is an international energy services company specializing in Oil and Gas and has annual revenues of over 2.6 billion. They believe that it is the people that drive their success, from Project Managers, Project Engineers, consultants to designers and commercial personnel. They work globally employing over 20,000 people on major operations including the UK. The role: To provide support and direction in the establishment and maintenance of the project Quality Management System (QMS) and undertake monitoring and surveillance activities to confirm its effective implementation. Provide advice and guidance to the Project Manager and the project delivery team on all matters of Quality Management. The development, maintenance and implementation of the Project Quality Plan. Assist in the management of quality risks in accordance with the risk management system. Facilitate project process owners in establishing their delivery processes and procedures. Direct a team of competent and experienced QC personnel where established. Liaise with client and their regulatory bodies (i.e. IVB / ICP) as directed by the Project Manager. Plan and conduct internal audit activities. Implement action tracking on Project, and manage corrective action and non-conformance closeout. Provide input and support to the subcontractor/supplier evaluation processes and monitor subcontractor/supplier performance: Ensure consistent quality input to equipment specifications Provide quality input into the Purchase Order Quality Requirements Essential Skills/Qualifications HNC or equivalent in an engineering related field.
